June is approaching too quickly

Journal Entry: Thu Mar 1, 2012, 10:34 AM

So, I haven't updated since August; I really have let my time on dA slack. I can tell you I haven't been "overly" lazy (except maybe in the crafting department).

My wedding date is June 2, 2012.

And I think I hate planning weddings. I don't like a lot of the standard stuff and I want to incorporate World of Warcraft (I met him through there and later moved in with him) and some general geekiness, but those ideas are limited. Oh, and very tight budget.

I haven't even sent out invites yet. I don't even know what to do for a design. Prolly gonna vistaprint it. They look cheap enough. and I only need like 100 (guest list is around 75, almost exclusively family and very close friends).

I have the dress ([link]), but it needs to be altered. And I want to loose some weight and tone up. Since I've moved in with my love, I've discovered I don't like cold, and I like to 'hibernate'. I went from a 31/32 inch waist to wearing his old 36 inch jeans. Not happy about it. But I guess that's what happens when you cook a lot of good food and don't work anymore. I'm trying to take up yoga, even have some dvds and a mat. Figured yoga would be gentle on my knee and wrist (the wrist pain is why I don't do as much dream catchers anymore).

I'm hoping this year to get a viable work 'shop' set up to. I'm using his old dining room table, which is round. Round tables are not effective when pushed up for against wall for crafting. I'm really hoping to get a garden set up this year. I'm honestly looking forward to living with my significant other and making his property ours. I'm also hoping to get more into leather work and hopefully sell some stuff. I hinted earlier I'm basically unemployed, and with us living in a rural town, there's only so many jobs, and I do not want to be a burger flipper or Walmart greeter. At home crafter sounds like a good idea.

So, motivating words and encouragment, go! Ideas would be nice too.

Do you happen to know the difference between a contributor and a regular deviant as far as Leather-Artisan membership is concerned?
